Crockham Hill Youth Choir
is a new choir for children in and around Crockham Hill in Kent, aged between 6 and 16 to learn new songs and develop their vocal technique in a fun, relaxed environment led by a professional choir trainer.

Currently, the choir runs on Saturdays, between 3.30 and 4.45, normally in Crockham Hill Village Hall (when it is available). The choir is made up of children between 6 and 13. The choir was founded in February 2011 by Katy Netherclift and Graham Dinnage. Graham is the choir’s musical director. - see more about Graham below.

Parents / child carers are welcome to join in the singing.

The choir’s first performance was at the Royal Wedding Crockham Hill celebrations on 30th April 2011. Since then they have performed at at the Grand Reopening of the Village Hall, in November, and gave a a sell-out Christmas Concert on Sunday 4th December, followed by carol singing at the Royal Oak on 23rd December.

Graham Dinnage is a singer, organist, teacher and choir trainer, and is a professor at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He runs several adult choirs including Capriol Choir and the choirs of Holy Trinity Church, Crockham Hill and St Peter’s Church, Hever. He teaches singing and organ to children and adults at home in Crockham Hill, where he lives with his wife Vivienne and their small dog, Poppy.
